I've had a passion for music since I can remember. I started playing the recorder when I was 10, clarinet at 11, bass at 12, and finally guitar at 13. The moment I started to learn how to play guitar I couldn't put it down even for a minute, I always wanted to play. As I learned more about music from my teacher Brian Kendall at the Ontario College of Percussion and Muisc who I owe credit for teaching me about 90% of what I know on guitar, I started to realize what goes into music production and how songs evolve from such a simple idea. I started doing my own recordings at 15, and took great interest.
In addition to being in and out of bands since the age of 15, I took quite a bit of time learning my way around different recording programs such as cubase, logic, and pro tools. Always trying to teach myself how to use them properly and get the desired result from every project. My own learning experiences helped me with learning about the recording process and learn my own way around it.
All aspects of my musical background have been put to the test since I started working with Sigmund. Re-learning all aspects of recording from start to finish with extreme attention to detail where others might not care to take the time. His attention to detail is insane and the evidence shows on every recording he does. It truly is a lifechanging experience working at Bunker 8.
